I did the Keto diet for 2 years for my brain cancer after being vegan for 15 years. It was a hard transition and I actually gained 10 pounds. However, my cholesterol went through the roof. I tried it again, but, with more research I have landed on a low glycemic diet that is high in veggies and nuts along with some meat and minimal dairy. Basically, Mediterranean. Doesn’t it always come back to “Mediterranean is the best diet?”
